Elliott & Assoc. clearly know their job and how to do it. I did get one other estimate which was higher and not very professionally done. It was scribbled on a form and barely legible. "[Elliott] came to my house and went through the steps [he] felt would accomplish reducing the radon level in my home. [He was] thorough in covering the problem and explaining to me the details involved in your proposal and making sure that my questions were answered. The contract I signed covered all the items [he] originally recommended doing… Next I would like to complement the office staff that was very polite and helpful in helping me with questions and kept everything progressing… When [the] installation crew came to do the job I found them to be very courteous and business like in their approach to the job. We worked together where there were questions on certain items that were a little vague such as the electrical source, location and routing the vent through the basement floor. When they were finished I went over the installation with them and found they accomplished everything that was in our contract. Upon completion they cleaned up and debris that was created and placed it in the container I provided. Before they left they made sure that any questions I had were answered. This effort greatly impressed me …these two in my mind are an asset to your company for their professionalism and customer relations… If someone needs a recommendation to solve their radon problems Elliott and Associates will be the one I recommend. Before your work started my radon levels were around 4.2 pcl with the 3 basement windows each opened about an inch. The day before you started the job, I closed the windows and the level jumped to 10.0 pc/l. When you completed the installation I reset my monitor and around noon I was in the basement and the reading was 0.7 pc/l. Thanks again for putting my mind at ease with a system that seems to have taken care of our problem."
